The Cass County Health Department is proud to offer American Red Cross certified blended learning CPR/AED and First Aid classes! The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program trains participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel take over.
The Cass County Health Department utilizes blended learning courses through the American Red Cross, meaning that the main classroom portion of the class is completed online through modules that students can take at their own pace, on their own time. After completing the online modules, students meet in-person for skills training to finalize their certification.
The class fee is $50, and certification is valid for 2 years.

If a student is unable to attend the in-person skills session, it is requested that the instructor is made aware of this at least 24 hours in advance. Online module progress cannot be transferred to a different skills session, and any rescheduling will result in having to restart the online modules.
