The Cass County Health Department was established in 1938. Today, with 20 staff members, the Cass County Health Department serves a combined population of approximately 111,000 people. The Cass County Health Department, along with community and state partnerships, carry out the Three Core Public Health Functions and the 10 Essential Public Health Services.
