Welcome to the Cass County Collector’s Website

  • A county-wide elected office with a four year term, the Collector's position is held by Pam Shipley. Ms. Shipley was elected to office November 6th, 2002, and was sworn in March 3rd, 2003.  She ran unopposed in 2006.

  • The Cass County Collector of Revenue is the elected official responsible for collecting and disbursing in excess of $96 million annually in current and delinquent property taxes for various political subdivisions within the county which have 2013 tax levies, such as school, library, city, road and bridge and fire districts. The collector also collects special assessments and merchant license fees.

  • By law, the collector must use any legal means to collect delinquent taxes. The Collector's Office provides services relating to processing tax payments from escrowed accounts held by mortgage holders on behalf of real estate owners. Primary tax records are maintained and held for public use within the collector's office.

  • The website is accessible 24/7/365 and is maintained as a service to the citizens of Cass County.  This site contains helpful and useful information about the office and duties of the Collector of Revenue as well as a search engine to help visitors quickly find information about the Office of Collector of Revenue.
